National policy on education and artistic and cultural awakening: reference texts

2017 inter-ministerial agreement protocol (Ministries of Culture, Solidarity and Health) which gives new impetus to the policy around early childhood, by aiming to promote the artistic and cultural awakening of young children, in line with of the Culture-Childhood agreement protocol of 1989 which had been decisive.

National program “Premières Pages” [First pages] initiated by the Ministry of Culture to make families aware of the importance of reading from an early age.
The departments of Nord, Pas-de-Calais, Aisne, Somme and Oise are labeled “First Pages”.

National Strategy for Cultural Health: Mission Culture early childhood and parenting – June 2019 report by Sophie Marinopoulos on the cultural health of young children.

It aims to promote and perpetuate the cultural and artistic awakening of children from birth to 3 years old in the bond with their parent (ECA-LEP).

Artistic and cultural education policy at school

HCEAC – The High Council for Artistic and Cultural Education aims to support the development of the generalization policy of 100% EAC (Artistic and Cultural Education).

The HCEAC has established the charter for artistic and cultural education and implements the Label Réussite 100% EAC.

In particular, it defines the national framework for the reception of young children through 10 main principles for growing up in complete confidence (charter).

Youth Literary Awards

Le gouvernement suèdois organise chaque année le Prix international Astrid Lindgren pour récompenser un.e auteur.rice, un.e illlustrateur.rice, un.e conteur.euse, ou une structure ou une personne œuvrant pour la promotion de la lecture.

IBBY organise plusieurs prix dont :

Prix International Hans Christian Andersen (pour un.e auteur.rice ou un.e illustrateur.rice Jeunesse)

Prix international de promotion de la lecture IBBY- Asahi (Pour une structure agissant pour la promotion de la lecture). Lis avec moi est lauréat de ce prix en 1997.

Prix Sorcières – prix national récompensant une sélection d’ouvrages pour la jeunesse ayant le plus marqué les professionnels (libraires et bibliothécaires) dans leur pratique quotidienne.

Ce prix est décerné conjointement par :

Pépites du Salon du livre et de la presse jeunesse – France Télévisions

Prix Coup de Cœur Tiot Loupiot, prix littéraire dédié aux 0-6 ans, à partir d’une sélection d’albums dont l’auteur/illustrateur est francophone.

Ce prix est piloté par l’association Droit de cité, en collaboration avec la Médiathèque Départementale du Pas-de-Calais.

Lis avec moi participe à l’organisation de ce prix à travers la présélection des albums et l’organisation de formations.
